An exploration studying the way tattoos and textiles visually narrate stories. Canvas of Self embodies the essence of personal identity and experience on the most intimate canvas—the skin.
Through the creation of body adornments in a series of knitted explorations, it shares a narrative stemming from an individual‘s personal experience and stories, inviting viewers to wear these stories and put themselves into the shoes of another.
