Initially a project to challenge our creative thinking abilities through the creation of wooden sculptures. This series of sculpting - publication - video documentation surrounds the development of a gangster giraffe character named "Yakunza", a word play on "Yakun" and "Yakuza," crafted from wood.
The publication aims to document the creative process, emphasizing a clean and minimal visual direction, with a touch of seriousness. This approach is intentionally chosen to reflect the simplicity and solemnity of the Japanese gang scene. Additionally, a cheeky video decumentation was produced to capture the meticulous and serene nature of Japanese craftsmanship.
