Together with the Disney SEA team, I designed a collection of candle wax warmers and packaging each unique to their own individual princess theme. Using the style guides provided, the assets are placed together cohesively to tell the princess’s story and show off their individual personality. This project taught me the intricacies of product development from conception to realization, especially in navigating the complexities of licensing agreements with entities like Disney.
Additionally, I also designed a collection of monthly planners, each featuring a distinct Disney character and then each month showing a different theme reflective of that character. The challenge lay in displaying the characters in 12 different ways such that it wouldn’t be repetitive throughout the year, without deviating from their core themes.
The planners emphasized simplicity and functionality, ensuring that the layout was not overcrowded and that users had sufficient space to organize their daily, weekly, and monthly agendas effectively.
